St Andrew Community
The St. Andrew Community are a group of single women living together with Christ as their centre. They are privately consecrated, offering the whole of their lives to God alone. They follow the example, and are inspired by, St. Andrew the Apostle whom the Messiah asked personally: "Follow me".
They have come together in order to answer the Church's call for the New Evangelisation in our world today. Their primary work is that of prayer and adoration. Their apostolate is with the young, especially teenagers and the poor.
At the Cathedral they organise Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, run two youth groups, confirmation classes for teens and participate/organise various works of charity.
